TBT: Jaydin's second birthday

Here's an introduction into the designs aspect of AmbiB Designs and Photography.  I started off my little business venture by selling custom invitations and other party essentials on Etsy.  When Jaydin turned two last February, yes this blog post is WAY overdue, we decided to throw him a Mickey Mouse themed birthday party.  The party was at Growth Spurts, and for those in the Chicagoland area I highly recommend them!  The staff is beyond helpful and so friendly, and the play space is perfect.  Take a look at how we personalized Jaydin's birthday party:

I made him customized water bottles, and how cute are these cups!  I just used red Solo cups and attached white ovals so the cups could resemble Mickey Mouse's pants.  I then purchased a Mickey Mouse head shaped hole puncher from JoAnn Fabrics and glued the heads to red and white striped straws.

These little napkin holders were made with a printed Mickey Mouse hand taped to a black ring and wrapped around a red and white polka dot napkin.  Can you tell I had a fun time with the theme!

And what's a birthday party without sugar!  We had a custom made cake from Baskin Robins and munchkins from Dunkin Donuts.  I designed the cupcake toppers myself, and stuck them on top of cupcakes ordered from Jewel.

Here's the birthday boy in both of his outfits.  My mother-in-law is Japanese and had gotten Jaydin a kimono, so we made use of it at his party.  The t-shirt I designed and had printed at a local shirt printer.

And we'll end it with my little family.  Thank you for reading, and stay tuned for more!
